Millennials are passionate and engaged – a generation of movers and shakers that are committed to improving the world. My Tzedakah Fund was established to empower this new generation to become committed members of the Jewish non-profit space.

Most Jewish charities and fundraisers today use old-school, traditional approaches to attract donors – whether through expensive and fancy dinners or mail and phone campaigns; they are ignoring millennials. My Tzedakah Fund was created to fix that problem – we meet the new generation of donors where they are, and make tzedakah giving easy, accessible, empowering and social.

Unlike other non-profit platforms, charities can utilize My Tzedakah Fund for free and all money raised through us is transferred directly to the charity. In exchange, the charities provide complete information on how the money will be used. Utilizing an advanced digital platform makes donating secure, transparent and easy.

The most powerful component of My Tzedakah Fund’s interface is the ability for you, the donor, to decide what your charitable values are. Instead of donating to whichever charity has the biggest marketing budget or to the charity that your friend is running a marathon for, you are empowered to build your own charitable fund based on what is most important to you. My Tzedakah Fund is a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. We make it easy for you to receive a tax deduction on all of your charitable contributions. our non-profit status enables you to donate to a charity in Israel that does not, itself, have 501(c)(3) status, while still being able to receive a tax deduction.
